We know that facing mental health or neurodevelopmental challenges can be daunting, whether it’s for yourself or a loved one. At Healios, we’re here to walk alongside you, providing compassionate and expert care every step of the way. Whether you’ve been referred to us by your healthcare provider or are simply looking for support, we’re dedicated to helping you find the right path forward.
At Healios, we believe in making mental health and neurodevelopmental support as straightforward and stress-free as possible. We partner with the NHS to bring our services directly to you, so you can access care in a way that fits into your life. Here’s how our process works.
We receive your referral
After your NHS healthcare professional refers you or your loved one to Healios, we’ll get in touch with you directly. We’ll guide you through setting up your Healios account and ensure you know what to expect next.
Booking your first appointment
Once your account is set up, we’ll send you an email to help you book your first appointment. Our team will assist with scheduling your care, in a way that best suits you.
Starting your Healios journey
Your care begins with online sessions that are interactive and personalised to your needs. You’ll meet with our experienced clinicians in a safe, comfortable environment—your own home. For children and young people, family members or supporters are welcome to join the sessions to provide additional support.
Accessing Support
Throughout your care with Healios, we may provide tools to support you or your loved one through the process. These tools are easy to use and are tailored to support your ongoing care.
Next steps
As you near the end of your care with Healios, you’ll have a final session to review the results and progress of your care with your specialist clinician. Together, you’ll discuss any next steps and make sure you feel confident moving forward. We’ll also share a detailed report with your NHS healthcare team to keep them informed of your journey.
